VA employs nearly 380,000 individuals including more than 350,000 professionals within the Veterans Health Administration.
The following list comprises total COVID-19-related employee deaths and the locations where they worked. These numbers are self-reported by VISNs, as the majority of these individuals received their care outside of VA facilities. Information regarding VHA employee deaths is updated when it is available; sometimes reporting is delayed and additions to this listing may not necessarily represent recent deaths among VHA employees.
